Used to replace worn and broken handles on vintage horn cases and provide a nice leather part with nice chrome buckles that look great in almost any use. Only take a couple minutes to install. If needed for heavy duty (commercial or professional) of high frequency uses I would recommend looking for a similar design that adds a short steel hooked shank into some designs available for this use, as the steel hooked shanks are hidden in the handle leather but bear the stresses of high use at the handles.Definitely will buy these again as I think I have at least 3-4 more project cases that need new handles.

My wife has a sewing kit that she won in a school competition probably 60 years ago. The handle disintegrated long ago and fell off, but the metal hardware was still intact. Most all suitcase handle manufacturers assume that the hardware also needs replacing and include it, but the handles are generally too large. This handle secures to the hardware with two cinch straps, and is small enough to fit this sewing case perfectly. Back in business!

I bought this as a replacement handle for my suitcase. I travel frequently and the handle on my carry-on ripped to the point of being un-repairable. As it was the only thing so far wrong with the suitcase, I thought I would try another handle. My next flight was on a plane too small for my suitcase to go in the overhead compartment. I gate-checked my suitcase. When I retrieved it, the handle had came apart at the rivet and the leather was peeled back off the grip part of the handle. I was able to push everythjng back together & re-snap the rivet. However, the next flight was the same way. I think this handle is just not designed for a suitcas and/or the lack of careful handling by airlines.

My sons handle broke on his instrument case and we were substituting with different handles. This one although a bit more pricey worked great. Easy to attach, very comfortable to hold and sturdy.Update: Jan approximately two months later the strap has broken.

Replaced instrument case handle with product that worked, fit well, and of sufficient quality to do the job for now. Comfortable to hold, whether it will have enough strength to last as long as original is questionable since the leather is not as thick and appears not to be nearly as strong. Time will tell, but it is working now.

The quality on this is really nice. It was a perfect match to the vintage leather handle that this old tool case came with... I will definitely order more. Its just a tiny bit pricey but when you see it next to the new faux plastic ones, it's worth it. If it were about $4 or $5 less I'd order 10 right now just to have for future projects. No regrets, it's strong, well made, attractive and looks like it will last a good long time.

Despite looked good and was quite ok for my old guitar case, today, simply trying to adjust the length, not under weight, it broke as for picture......i don't think is real leather. I would like to get my money back, but the order looks closed.and i see no option in the order itself.....I hope Amazon will support.Only a few months.......I hope i can get money back

The guitar case I have, had the leather strap with tubing inside. The leather ripped. This is not really compatible with my case. But I have installed it anyway for now till i find the right one.
