I don’t normally leave reviews but this saw has been amazing for me. Super easy to fold and put away in my shed and it has worked great with cleaning up all the broken branches/knocked over trees for my fire pit. I haven’t tried cutting anything wider than 6-7” but it hasn’t let me down yet!

This little pruning saw is small (only an 11" blade) and light. Although the teeth are really sharp, it would not be your first choice for branches larger than an inch in diameter. It's not that it won't cut it; it's just that you'd be better off using a longer blade. But if you're cutting smaller branches, say in a lilac or up in a small tree or on a stepladder this saw has the advantage of being able to be placed easily and conveniently folded up in a pocket. That's especially useful if you're in a bush or tree (or even pruning thick rose stalks) where you might also be also using a pair of bypass clippers because it makes it real easy to have one in each pocket. And, of course, it's short enough that it it has room to move if you're in a really tight space. In short, it may not be not a tool you'd use often, but when you do need it for the type of conditions I outlined you'll be glad to have it.

I purchased this to prune my agave plants. It’s the best tool I’ve ever used for this chore. It cuts like butter. It made the job super easy & fast compared to other tools I’ve used. I also trimmed a few palm fronds; worked great for this too! Highly recommend.

I purchased to trim my 8 year old water oak trees lower limbs. Used for 1" to 3" diameter branches and it cut right through all with ease. No cut took more than 20 seconds. Should work good on much larger if needed. I was really surprised how well it worked for the price.

I liked the folding feature of this pruning saw which is the main reason I ordered it. I don't have a lot of garage space but like to have something on hand to trim branches that are too thick for my gardening loppers. With that said, the blade is a bit too long for my liking and I don't feel like I can comfortably control the blade fully due to how long it is. If it was a few inches shorter over all I think it would be balanced better and would keep the blade from bending as easily. The sharpness is fine for my needs and at the price point ($16) it's a pretty good deal.

Great size and very sturdy. It has a great opening and closing mechanism so you don't accidentally cut yourself and it never closes when sawing. Customer service is very friendly as well.

I have a couple of these lower-end folding saws. Usually I'm super impressed with them. This one has some goods and some bads --Pros: A super sharp blade. This is longer than my other saws, and has a very aggressive blade.Cons: The blade is pretty loose in the handle when in the locked closed position. When open it is sturdy, but then, as you close it, it stops half-way closed and won't go any further. I have to push the button again to get it to continue to close, and because that's difficult to do without putting your hand around the blade, you get your fingers in the danger zone of those super-sharp teeth. This might be a issue with my unit, or it might be part of the design. But whatever the case, it makes mine not safe to close. It's not useless, though. I'll be keeping this one in the car for when I come across trees downed across the road. Because I won't use it often, I'll reduce the chance of getting my fingers bitten by the blade, and it will remain nice and sharp since it won't get regular use.
