Love the speakers. Excellent sound quality and good bass. PartsExpress sells nice speakers at affordable prices. However, ordered 4 speakers, and 2-3 arrived totally damaged and bent from shipping as if they had suffered serious impact. Not the manufacturer's fault.

No, I'm no audiofile by any means: But I had a pair of old Sony speakers from one of those "cabinet" type stereo systems my Buddy had in the Marines back in the early 90s.............. I also had my "KICK---" ONKYO receiver that became outdated over the last ten years by all the digital stuff...............but was still awesome in quality and sound so I decided to put them out in my woodshop. These speakers literally screwed right back into the old holes and plugged in. I've never really "broke in" in speakers like a lot of the reviewers talk about, (I'm from the Pioneer speaker '80s when you plugged em in and gave 'er hell with some "Run to the Hills" Iron Maiden.) But anyway, THESE SOUND GREAT in a shop that is, well, less than acoustically forgiving!They are clear, clean sounding woofers that may not meet Bose lovers qualifications but work very well for anyone lookin' for some good 'ol old school floor speaker sound. I've got a small 10" in sub in line with them, and actually....... I don't need it. They give nice clean base tones and actually probably erase the need for a sub for listening to a wide variety of music from classic country to a bit of Primus. Unless of course, you listen to Rap. Then of course, you need a sub.The Jist of it.... Nice! for less than 50 bucks? Then Awesome!

High QTS if you are trying to bring an old console back to life. Works great ported in a 1.3+ box. If using for a replacement it is a little undersized so measure! Do measure and shoooPE around.

Great replacement woofer for old 3 ways. Sounds ok...much better than the old stock speaker. Hard and shiny coated paper seems durable and foam surround is thick. Size is a bit large for my old Technics but luckily I have a Dremel.

I have an old organ that had two 10" speakers in a box for bass, but the surrounds had crumbled away and they hardly worked. I was thinking of replacing the surrounds, but saw these speakers were affordable and decided to give them a shot. Installation was simple -- the holes around the side lined up with the screws in the organ. Everything worked as it should, and now the bass pedals and low notes sound great! Buying these saved me time and possibly frustration since I've never repaired speakers before. Thanks!

Excellent speaker. Picked up an old Radio Shack powered sub woofer at a thrift store with a blown voice coil in the speaker, Put this woofer in there to replace the defective one and it's like new now! If the rating you need lands in the range of this, you're good to go! I've given it a pretty good workout over the past few weeks and it's still working clean and crisp.
