The thing I love about these magnets is 3 fold. First while made for the refrigerator they can also be used on other surfaces that have a magnetic componet to them. My side door leading to the side, back and front yards is made of heavy fire proof to a certain degree of heat magnetic material. The door is heavy to keep out strangers and at the same time, we use it as our main door to go in and out of the house. Not our front door. This is the door that we like to keep our family calendar on, any important notes or phone numbers. These magnets snap on to this door with such force you can bang into them and they aren’t moving. Plus with the ability to use the clipping feature of it, it has a duel purpose. It’s not just to use as a magnet to hold a paper or papers up but also is useful to hold the papers as well in the clips. So the ability to be able to use these on the refrigerator, to use on the magnetic side door and the clip part are all 3 things that we as a family like having these clips in our home for. If desired you can use them on the front or sides of a metal filing cabinet or anything you own that is made from a magnetic material. I have owned these for years and just bought more not because they are no longer working but to add to my collection to be able to hang grandkids art work, test results and other household paper work that I want and or need to keep handy and yet look neat.

We got these to hold canvases on my child’s easel. Using multiple clips they work well to hold a small canvas for painting.

The colors of these clips are vibrant, and the size is just as I was expecting. However, I think was expecting a stronger magnet, it's good, and should work for everything I am doing, but just wish it was a little stronger.

We use these magnetic clips to hold papers and decorations on our cruise stateroom walls. They're strong and colorful.
