I broke the original Weber igniter and replaced it with this. It fit perfect it was very easy to install and was much cheaper than the OEM Weber version so the value for the money is Looks like OEM.

Well, after eight years, the ignitor stopped on my Weber Genesis II and battery change didn't fix it.I put this in after five minutes work and voila!! Has worked perfectly ever since the repair a few months ago!

This was easy as it gets. Two wires that are connected to the switch they are very easy to disconnect and connect.

The electric igniter on my Weber Genesis II grill recently died on me. Came to Amazon looking for a replacement and found many options. Verified which would supposedly fit my model and placed my order on Saturday. The part arrived in my mailbox on Monday.Installation was easy, pull off the three burner knobs and remove four screws to release the front panel. Disconnect the two wires going to the old igniter, Squeeze the retaining clips on the old igniter and pull it out of the control panel. Place the new igniter in the panel (it will 'click' when attached). Attach the two wires, (I then pressed the igniter button to insure it worked. Sure enough, i heard 'click, click). Reattach the control panel to the grille and reinstall the knobs.New igniter doesn't fire off 'clicks' quite as rapidly as the original, but it still starts the gas and the grill is working again. If it lasts as long as the original, it will be a great investment for just $15.99
