The portable retractable net turns my students' desks into a fun PE activity. Very easy to set up (my second grade students put it together). The paddles are pretty basic, and will eventually wear out. I prefer the 6-piece all plastic paddles that can be purchased through Amazon; they're practically indestructible!

This net is so versatile. My son is super into ping pong and we set this up on all sorts of different tables. In the picture it’s on a coffee table. It’s great for traveling or just around the house. Pay attention to the thickness of the table you plan to use it on. It only extends so much. Great Value for the money!

I accidentally broke the old net at my mother-in-law's house, so I bought this to replace it. I got it installed no problem, but it did take a bit of manipulation to set it up as precisely as I would want in a game. By this I mean if your table top is in two pieces and not perfectly level, you'll have to either level it or pick a side for the clamps to register against. That being said, I have pretty strong hands - but I think for those who are advancing in age or have any sort of manual limitations like arthritis, this might be a bit more cumbersome. Don't get me wrong - it's a great design, but for it to work there has to be a fair amount of force in the spring, more so than I think some folks can handle so those people might want to get a different style. I'm not taking any points off for that - I just think you should know before you buy.

Ordered two of these. One fit my son's 20 year old ping pong table just fine. The other ping pong table is way older than that and the clamp on net didn't work at all with that table/existing net hardware set up. I ended up doing a zip tie situation because I didn't want to deal with returning the net. Just check your net set up before assuming that this net is the solution for your table- especially an ancient table, that's all.
