Yes you need new chalk, use the chalk to season the board and then get a new eraser and you’re good to go! There’s even six holes in the frame to hold the darts

I should have read the dimensions. I assumed when "large" was in the description, it was pub-sized not notebook sized. Misleading.

I'm excited to use this! It's not damaged or scuffed. My chalk came broken though :( . I'm not sure what the little grey pad is for though. I think it needs to be "seasoned" or whatever you'd call it. I'd definitely buy this for a gift for someone who likes darts. Or even just to have a spare on hand.
