This means the grease stays where it belongs - at the joint - which prevents premature wear and component failure. All of our CV Axle Assemblies are factory lubricated with a specially formulated, high-temperature moly grease that resists friction and wear, contributing to a lifetime of smooth, dependable performance. My daughters 2005 CRV passenger side CV axle went out. Tire had a mean shimmy/wobble on acceleration.This installation requires a Large Diameter Socket. 34 or 35mm, i forget and a compressor run impact gun. I have a 30 gallon tank and a matco gun. Other than that it was an easy install. 1000 miles and so far, so good. Hope that helps. good luck

The first axle outer joint was extremely tight and caused a vibration. The seller quickly sent a replacement which has been fine.

2005 Honda CRV. replaced an old axle (torn boot) with this one. introduced a shakes and shimmy vibration between 40 and 60 mph. i suspected other parts, as I trusted this part to be BRAND NEW. I replaced ball joint, transmission fluid (flushed and refilled with Genuine Honda DW1 from dealer (no other equivalent), brake caliper and pads. the rotors were true and still good. almost about to give up, i went to the local Autozone and purchased Duralast Gold cv axle. vibration gone. i wasted time installing this and days of wondering why the vibrations/shimmy/shakes between 40-60mph, the forums also talked about the above fixes, one may have mentioned CV-axle, but i just replaced mine with this new one so i trusted! Never again.

Installed well and worked for a while by. After 6 months started to get bad torque vibration. Took a while to diagnose but replaced with another brand from Amazon and the vibration is gone.
