Excellent set of snow thrower chains for my older John Deere, which doesn't make these anymore. Took awhile to get the cross chains spaced properly, but only because the chains are a perfect fit for the tires--nice and snug. Took these puppies thru a 14" deep snow cover about 50 ydsto an outbuilding with virtually no slippage. Solid, well made chains.

Chains fit my snowblower tires as advertised. Traction is vastly better, and they appear to be a "lifetime" purchase. I installed in 10-15 minutes, trimmed the end links with a bolt-cutter, and was off. My only possible gripe would be that where the ends meet up, there is a gap in the tires where it looks like there should be one more band of tread chain. This was after deflating both tires, installing, adjusting the spacing on each tread as best I could, etc. Certainly not a deal breaker, but it left me scratching my head as to what I had done wrong.
