For such a compact unit this horn is deafeningly loud which makes it VERY effective for it's intended use. There are a lot of wild animals around where I run so I carry this with me for added protection. If you ever need to use it just be prepared for a VERY LOUD burst which will surely startle any stray animals.

I was happy for the purchase of this horn, It fits nice in your hands, has a solid metal build to it the funnel for the horn is a hard plastic which is nice and didn't break. Its loud and worked well scared my wife and toddler and cats. It was easy to sintal when bought just a quick clip on. I have plans to purchase a few more for usefulness and some mischievous things too. The air last a while and I still have some left im going to test it at the park on birds later.

It's small and compact can it can fit in your pocket. The horn is extremely loud and will definitely scare someone away if they aren't expecting it.

Loud. Almost too loud. It is sort of hard to push the trigger so I end up really giving a blast of sound. It’s loud and works but wanted something a little easier on the trigger as it’s hard to give this one a quick shot.

I bought this for whenever I go hiking as I enjoy it. In case of a bear or animal during my hike I got this to scare the animal away. Haven’t had to use it yet, but I tested it and it is very loud and is easy to use. Made of good quality material and fits in my backpack easily.

I bought this because we live in the country and I walk with my 2 dogs. Coyotes are around and I wanted something to scare them. This air horn is not very loud. It doesn't even bother my doodles so I doubt it would scare a wild animal.
