We bought this last year and was very impressed at the beginning. Got it to keep my dogs safe while we walk since there are always a lot of loose dogs in my neighborhood. It lost its charge relatevily fast even though it had not been used (other than to try it and see if it worked). Tried charging it and after a full night of charging I tried to use the flash light the next day and it died almost instantly. I thought it was the light itself but the taser also went out. We charged it for longer this time but it never worked again. I tried messaging the vendor but never got a reply.

This is AMAZING! I’m in TX and sadly, strays are everywhere. The past 2 days I have walked my dogs stress free with this bad boy. The sound is a great deterrent to other dogs on and off leash who get too close (some people have no dog walking courtesy!). The flashlight is great as well and will come in handy as the days get shorter.Great product by a well-known company, you can’t go wrong!

Many dogs on my walking route and just the sound alone makes them go running. It's awesome. Too many people let their dogs go off leash or run free in the yard. We've heard of several people being attacked so I don't take my chances. It holds a charge really well; the light is nice and bright. I wish it was shorter as it's awkward to carry. I wisht the spread on the light was wider it's very focused which isn't great for walking. I wish you could keep the light and the shocker going at the same time. If I have to taze someone at night, I'll be in complete darkness and then trying to switch back to the light again. The perfect use would be a strobe and the tazer to throw people off. But for the price it's awesome. I feel safer walking around and and having a non-lethal deterant for dogs and crazy people.

At first I thought it didn't work. The directions leave a lot to be desired. First... put batteries in with plus down and tighten all the way. Then the key to the whole thing... push button on bottom and blue light will come on! That was something I missed at first! HA. It turns on and I love it! Bright light blinds someone and tazer is LOUD and also you don't have to get to close because its a foot long.

Very very strong, the shock will knock you on your butt. I saw some people in the review section were using this weapon to punish their dogs???? NO, this is a weapon. The name of the brand is a bit misleading. It's not even meant to defend against aggressive dogs, though I'm sure it'd work for that. It's very loud when you press the zap button, loud enough to scare an animal.It looks like a baton but I certainly wouldn't hit anyone with it. The end of it is just meant to tase, it might break if you deliberately smacked it on something/someone.Works well. Please only use it for self defense against aggressive people.
