These are for my husband. His fingers were always freezing when he was snow blowing our driveway. They seem to keep his fingers warm. No complaints so far. They are nicely made. He bought an extra large, they run a little small he said.

I am a woman with fairly small hands, not tiny, just small (3 inches across my palm, 6-inch circumference, thumb not included). The medium fit nicely with plenty of room for wiggling my fingers, with the accompanying wool gloves on underneath. I could easily grip anything I wanted to grip. I was concerned about that because one reviewer stated the medium was too large. Size small is not offered. For Men with large hands, you may want to go up one size. I was pleasantly surprised at how durable and well-made these mittens are, especially for the price. The deer skin is waterproof yet pliable and the leather does not harden after drying. The added wool gloves are nice. The mittens themselves, as many reviewers have pointed out, are already lined without adding the wool gloves, but the gloves add extra warmth. With or without the wool gloves, these mittens are not bulky. I like them. Glad I took a chance. Recommended.

The mittens are warm and good quality. The liners, developed holes at the base of the thumbs. Only used them twice, and for light use. Hopefully they can be stitched up. I'm really disappointed in the quality of liners.

I’ve owned these mittens for a season of use. They are good quality, warm, and have an inner liner which is removable. I’ve used them for ice fishing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, snow removal, and chores around the house. No concerns, and great value for the price.

The deer skin outer is very soft and nicely attractive. The liners are good, but the thumb fits a little tight.

The lining is right with the leather mitten. Very warm and practical. Great for northern Wisconsin weather.

I ordered a 2X size and found it very difficult to get my thumbs into the liners. The thumb holes were almost sewed closed. The leather portion also was small for my hands. I am waiting for a return authorization to return these undersized mittens.

You get what you pay for. These are expensive but I expect they will last a long time. I took the previous deerskin mittens (that my husband used for almost 20 years for snow shoveling) to a local sewing centre and was charged $5 cdn. to have her sew the thumb as there was a tear in the leather on each glove. Great to have a back up pair and now new ones. Worth every penny and if his hands get too cold, I have packages of hand warmers to keep his hands even warmer. They are mittens so much better at keeping hands warmer versus gloves. The deerskin leather is also waterproof.
