I bought this for an adult with dyslexia. Saving the rest for whoever may want or need in the future.Years ago, a teacher gave one of these to one of my children being tested. I don't know all the politically correct terms. But, It helps to block out words nearby and focus on the chunks of words in the window.Giving this to my adult friend allowed them privacy while trying to increase their reading skills.The pack came in a variety of colors. I would recommend for ages 6yrs to adult: anyone learning or struggling with reading.Good quality. Performance results may vary.

These are a great concept, but for us, we found them hard to read through the colors. They seem too dark. my daughter will still use it as a bookmark to follow along, and she just runs the side of the bookmark down the lines of the book itself to keep her place.

I bought these for my kindergartners. I had used them as a kid in school. Only complaint is I wish the window of color was wider for kindergartners lettering in books.
