Saddles and base are undoubtedly carved from beautiful, genuine ebony. Very dark, smooth hardwood. The dimensions are not precise, and the workmanship is definitely not remarkable. Like most solid wood bridges, you’ll need to measure and file your own string seats. This is understandable, as width and string spacing vary. The hardware is the least impressive part of this product. You’ll need to do a bit of work to prepare this bridge. If not for the high quality ebony used, I would have given only one star.

I wanted to replace the tune-o-matic style bridge on a customers' Ibanez George Benson model guitar. This ebony bridge made all the difference in tone and brought the guitar back into the tone realm of a jazz guitar. If your GB or similar archtop sounds too brittle or bright just replace the bridge. I didn't think to take a photo, but you can use your imagination. Excellent product. Cheers, all.
