I am using this file to put a linear pattern in heavy gauge triangular sterling silver wire for a cuff. It is doing exactly what I'd hoped, making a beautiful pattern.

I have always found Grobet files to be of great quality (having used them for decades in making silver jewelry), and this one is no different. I used it to create a checkered pattern on the back of a couple small silver medallions I made added that special touch that gave the pieces a more "finished" look and feel. The file cuts are precise and smooth, and this file will be a joy to use on many other projects in the future. Thank you!

This is a nice little file, it does what it is intended to do. Although it did not meet my needs due to to the fact that it doesn't cut the grooves deep enough.
