I have used numerous round versions of these hoop frames, this my first oval and I love it. It was exactly right for my ribbon embroidery design. Displays beautifully. Patient getting it apart and be extra careful of placement because it’s tricky to adjust once it is in the hoop. But, it can be done!

I love these hoops. They are unique and hold up way better than a normal wood hoop. I like that they are fairly malleable as I was able to turn one on its side to create a portrait. Love them!

These hoops are beautiful, but are a PAIN to put together using cloth. I had to have the help of my husband so one of us cause hold everything in place to lock it together otherwise if you try it yourself it just keeps slipping out and doesn't work.Thankfully I was using a black cloth since I could see the light brown color leaving marks, which I in other reviews people say it will stain lighter color cloth.

The only real issue I've had with the frame is that it's very difficult to center your work to frame it. I didn't use this frame while working on my piece, but I can't see it holding the project well either. It does look nicer than a bamboo hoop.
