Amazing tuners they look behind fabulous in person than on picture they are great quality and easy to install no drilling or cutting required it was direct fit for my fg700s yamaha acoustic guitar and they are very very smooth in turning and keeping my guitar in tune better

These tuners feel a little cheap, in that the turning of the keys feels a little scratchy and there are some seam lines along the keys that don't look great.However, they're a good price and were a drop-in replacement for my Yamaha Revstar RSS20 tuners. They're a little shorter than the ones that come with the instrument, which increases the break angle over the nut. Whether that's good or bad is up to you; it didn't seem to affect the tone or stability of the instrument.The locking functionality works as described.Specifically for Revstar buyers, I noticed my instrument needed the nickel color, but I had bought the chrome; the color mismatch isn't a big deal to me, but it's good to know.

I replaced the tuners on my 80's Yamaha Acoustic. They fit well and look outstanding. I like the ratio for extra fine tuning

The whole world loves locking tuners, and these work just fine. I went ahead and filled in the old screw holes from the original tuners, and painted the back of the headstock before I installed these tuners, and it looks just fine. I didn't need to change the size of the original holes in the headstock to get these to fit. This is such an improvement from the original tuners. They tune up quicker with less time spent stretching and pulling on the strings to get them to seat in the wraps around the tuning machines. the guitar stays in tune much better now, too.

I used these to upgrade standard tuners on a couple acoustic projects and they worked great-just make sure you check the threads on the bushing/nut on each one before you try to set them in place-some were a bit iffy. I use a little liquid soap on the threads to lube the threads and had no real issues-just make sure they tighten/loosen smoothly before you set them on the head. I also picked up nylon washers for the two guitars I was setting up-the posts were a bit too long but not by enough to worry about. I’d also recommend rounding the holes for the strings to make sure there are no sharp edges-just use a low e string to “file†the opening (I do that on any tuner-not just an issue with these) Great value, nice finish, smooth action and they hold tune!

Tuners are nice and fit good but the quality isnt super nor bad. Right in the middle. Has some tuning stability issues but tolerable

These tuners are fantastic. I used this set on a Yamaha FG800 that's about 8 or 9 years old. Their fit and function is absolutely perfect so far. They sure made changing strings on an acoustic guitar much easier and faster and they hold tuning pretty darn good. I am very satisfied.

This was my first order of these products. I will be putting them on a kit guitar. I had planned on using them to upgrade a guitar purchased on Amazon. I was disappointed by the quality and these are not as good as what’s on there now.I want to be fair here. The cost of these is not too much. That would make them acceptable for the price.Personal preference. I used brand name tuners on the other two guitars I have upgraded. If it wasn’t for the funky colouring they would go back. Will not buy this brand in the future.
