I really like almost everything about this slider and I use it a lot in product photography. I have two complaints. One is in regards to the way the motion ramps up as it causes a jerking motion in the shot. Another issue is how the rotation control has lag and sloip associated with directional changes. I may be able to adjust some of that out, but it is pretty severe out of the box. Otherwise the motion is smooth and the batteries seem to last an adequate amount of time.

The package came complete with all required parts and everything works. No problems.When you first unpack it and get it running, you'll probably complain about the noise. It's quieter on tripods or some other surface. Full speed is kind of loud and full slow is pretty quiet. Of course, for time-lapse, none of that matters. For video, I would either use a shotgun mic or off-body mic. You shouldn't be using the in-camera mic anyway if you care at all about sound.The nit-piks I have are: at the slowest speed, it's still too fast. The trolley can go from one end to the other (31" model) in 2.5 minutes. It would be great to see that be 10 or 20 minutes instead. That would translate well to time-lapses. As it is, there is no way I can get 300 photos squeezed in in one run at a reasonable interval.The shutter (labeled Camera) output port sends a signal when the motor *starts* an interval, not when it ends. That means when trolley starts, the signal is sent to my camera (Fuji XT3) to take a pic. So, that's useless. I would like to see it send a signal when the trolley motor stops, so it's motionless when the camera takes a pic. As it is, I have to do math with the intervalometer to try to time when to take a pic. This could have been way easier and pretty much why I subtracted a star. (The trolley moves in discreet steps in time-lapse, but smooth, continuous motion in video mode).I'll never use Panorama mode since my cameras do it so well without the extra setup.The software/controller. Don't expect to go out on a shoot without practicing with the controller first. There's no real logical workflow. There's a lot of jumping around. Hitting ESC commits a value, not ENTER. ENTER should be labeled SELECT, then it would make more sense. The bluetooth connection can take awhile to connect. The bluetooth target is called GVM. I had no idea how much bluetooth is in my neighborhood, so that label was very useful. When you get a hang of it, it works, and ultimately, that's what I'm after.The phone app is better, but only because it's more responsive. The workflow is the same. It has sliders to set values and my i(phone) connects quickly. I don't find myself using the included controller anymore.The battery lasts forever in the controller, but if you're concerned and you have the slider on loop that's going to take a long time, you can actually turn off the controller and the slider will continue to operate as programmed. Of course, when you turn it back on, you have to reset your start and stop points again. There is no means to store any user data at all.The panorama angle of the center bar gives more than enough angle. It's a great mechanism. The big motor batteries last a long time (I haven't test how long though, as I'm always charging them) and you can swap them out one at a time while the slider is in operation.I feel the documentation is incomplete. I don't know what the RJ-45 connector is for. I had to trial-and-error to figure out what the 2.5mm jack labeled Camera was for and how it worked (see above). The docs describe what things are, but don't describe how to use the device.My Fuji XT3 with lens is under 4 lbs, so I can't comment on how much weight it will push, but it pushes my Fuji fine horizontal, inclined, and vertical.If all other sliders were spec'd like this one, I'd buy it again, but if I found one where the trolley travel was significantly slower at the slowest speed, I would buy that one instead.So... it works, and it works as described. But it could be better. At this price-point, it's actually quite awesome.

I have used this on about 6 jobs and really like it. My focus is on architectural video and the motion is smooth and exact. It's very responsive. I use an android phone and the app doesn't do everything it's supposed to do but it works just fine. I recommend the product completely.

I really wanted to like this product. Compared to some other budget level sliders, those one had a lot going for it.The motor was on one end, meaning balance during use should be easier to manage. The sliding and controls were easy and intuitive in my ground testing. The product is solid and the motor easily moves pretty heavy loads.The issue? It couldn't mount to any plate on any mount or tripod that I had. This rendered this slider completely useless.

OK, although my first experience wasn’t a good one out of the box I must say that working with Amazon support they ship me a replacement one within 24 hours and it works perfect. I think the slider suits the individual who is going to have secondary audio as it works smooth and move smooth but the motor is Loud, but I would definitely recommend it.

I have been debating on whether to purchase a slider for over a year...didn't know if it would be cost effective...couldn't see how I could use it. Read and watched a lot of reviews and for 2022 GVM came up quite often as a great slider. At last I was debating between the Neewer (since I have some other equipment by them) and GVM. I was won over by this model being controlled wireless through an app and the sale during Prime Early Access pushed my final hurdle. I have been using it to create video for marketing campaigns and b-roll for my vidcast. It easily supports my Canon R7 with the Sigma 18-35 and sometimes my Canon XA55. It's easy to setup and light weight. It also comes with a great storage or carrying case. This was definitely a great purchase!!

Love it. For the price, hard to beat. Have it mounted on a tripod. The rubber belt looks like it has sag, but the motion is pretty smooth.

Bought it. Tested it. And immediately returned it. It works well and links up great to the app. But for my application the motor is to audible . In my opinion the motor sounds cheap. It moves smooth but It doesn't sound smooth. The motor has a suble ticking sound when it moves. If I didn't have highly sensitive mics near it, It would be perfect

Der Slider funktioniert einwandfrei. Die App ist einfach zu bedienen und verbindet sich problemlos mit dem Slider. Das Motorgeräusch dürfte noch etwas leiser sein. Im Vergleich mit anderen Slidern ist es aber konkurrenzfähig, vor allem wenn man den Preis mit in Betracht zieht. Der Slider ist ähnlich gut, wie weit aus teurere Slider.

Wir nutzen diesen slider für längere interviews, b-roll footage, time lapses etc. und sind sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt. Für den Preis kann man nichts sagen!
