This lock came highly recommended from hobbyist lock pickers, Art of Lockpicking. This replaced an inexpensive Master dial combination lock that is known to be easily picked. The hobbyists analyzed this lock and found it has a zinc alloy lock body that is sturdy but "easy to melt," the latter of which they point out is not likely a concern for a gym locker. The lock has a 7mm hardened steel shackle that should fit most gym lockers, and the four digit combination wheels have large, easy to read numerals (so easy to read that you need to be careful no one is snooping). The combination is very easy to change, with only a simple screwdriver. The hobbyists point out that this lock has anti-shimming protection and "decoding shielding" which protects against decoding the combination. This is a nice step-up from cheaper, easily-picked locks, and having a combination, instead of a key, means there's one less thing that can be lost.

Seems like a great gymLocke. I have purchased ones before, but they always end up filing up because of moisture. We’ll see how this one works out. But looks like it shouldn’t have any problems.

Very sturdy, clear numbers, color is great, and much easier to use than a traditional spin one. Small enough to use with gym lockers, and super quick to open.

This is an awesome lock. Its definitely weather proof, although after a few years i found it got sticky and had to spray it with lubricant.The only thing i don't like is that you have to put in the combo to lock it again. It will only lock or unlock with the correct combo.If you want to change what numbers will unlock it (change the combo), you have to unscrew a tiny philips head screw on the bottom, slide a little button, and then you can change it. You can leave the screw off after that if you want.

Works great as a gym lock, and you can set your own combination! Not super heavy duty, not super light and wimpy. Perfect!

Für Unterwegs ist eine gelungene Lösung wenn man nicht ständig nach einem Schlüssel suchen muss und das Schloss zu öffnen.Das Schloss macht einen sehr guten Eindruck.Die Zahlen sind sehr gut lesbar und lassen sich einfach verstellen/einstellen.

The numbers are large and on the front, so after a swim it`s really easy to use. Compared with other locks in the changing room this one is strong and I love the orange colour! It is chunky but fits the usual changing room lockers.You need to be careful when setting your digits as the black screw is tiny. Of course, I dropped mine on the black kitchen tiles lol. A bit fiddly but worth it as once the digits are set, they won`t change. I`ve used cheaper locks where mysteriously, the combo has moved on a digit.Although it`s probably waterproof, I`d always put a lock in a protective container to keep it dry.A first rate product so defo worth the money!!
