Love this little screw bit to chuck adapter. Works incredibly well. Fits perfectly, easy to use, and the teeth line up well with the drill bits. Can only be used with smaller bits, but it's great and lightweight, and precise for those smaller jobs, without adding a bunch of extra heft to whatever tool you're using, like an electric screwdriver. All in all, should get some good use out of this!

I received a bad batch of amplifiers and had to replace them. They were 15 pin thru hole parts. The task of removing the ICs from the board and then cleaning out the solder from the plated thru holes in preparation for the new parts was very time consuming. The worst part was adequately clearing all of the solder from the holes. I decided to try and clear the holes with a drill bit. I found #64 drill bits an this site. The Gyros Keyless Mini Adapter Chuck was perfect for this task. I was able to securely fix the drill bits in the chuck and the 1/4" Hex Shank fit perfectly in my cordless screwdriver. I am now able to replace the ICs 4 times faster.

"Works with Dremel and similar rotary tools" Max speed 30,000 RPM. Made in USA.In the package: 1 mini chuck. 1.214" overall length, .121" dia shaft (.445" length to shoulder), .258" dia knurled screw (.083" long) which tapers to about .190" at the tip. Throat depth (how much of the bit sits inside the chuck) is approximately .510". My chuck did not have the taper on the shaft below knurled knob as shown in the picture and is all black.First impression is that this thing is VERY small. Even in its shelf packaging, I almost missed it in the Amazon envelope. The chuck is nicely machined and the very fine thread (about 40TPI) works smoothly. Although the chuck is supposed to handle .039" (1/16"), I was not able to get a 1/16" drill bit into the chuck, the bit was simply too big. The chuck does close down to nothing (0"), so you could put the finest of wires or bits inside to do whatever detail work you are trying to accomplish.Nice tool,down 1 star for not handling it's rated capacity.

Bought two, love them. My drill will not clamp down on very small drill bits. But using this tool I can use very small number drill bits instead of using pin vise. Arrived on time undamaged. Great price great product recommend seller

I tried three devices and this one is the one I used for my project. It seemed very accurate and held the very small drill bit centered. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a hex shank for drilling with super small drill bits.

Shaft was bent causing drill to wobble.Small gauge drills are easy to break and wobbling the drill bit is a sure way to break the drill. I was disappointed in the Gyros chuck and will look for a better manufacturer. I may not buy any other Gyros products after this.

I bought the 1/4" drill chuck and when it arrived I put a #60 wire drill bit in it, for jewelry work. The chuck centered well and fits into the larger drill chuck just fine. Craftsmanship seems very good, and it performed well.This chuck is designed to be tightened with fingers, although you can use small pliers if your need to really torque down on your bit to keep it from spinning in the chuck.I had no trouble with finger tightness.There were no troubles or rough bits with this chuck, it is just as in the pics for the listing.

This is such a handy item to have. Works great - if you get a good one! Despite the packaging claims of improved quality, I've had two of these that were junk. Similar to issues with cheap dremel collets, the slots in the Gyros were cut so poorly - off center and with burs all over. I bought one locally and then one here on Amazon and both were so far from acceptable that they had to be returned. A replacement from Amazon was fairly decent so I kept it. Still not cut quite exactly the but the runout is tolerable enough to make it worth keeping (some runout with such tiny bits is pretty normal even with the good bits). So inspect yours and chuck it up for a test upon arrival and be prepared to do a return. These are made in India.

The sending came in time but the product doesn't look like the image of sample, is observed by a minor quality, works with Dremel 3000 but it is not precise. / El envÃo llegó a tiempo pero el producto no se parece a la imagen de muestra, se observa con una menor calidad, funciona con Dremel 3000 pero no es preciso.

This adaptor chuck was smaller than i expected i failed to estimate its size when i ordered it but it will still be usefull for other purposes. I am satisfied with my purchase.
