- Accepts chain hung fixtures, supports up to 20 lbs.
- Please secure the area of track where the fixture is hanging to make sure the track can hold the fixture well.

H Track System - 3 Metal Prongs
- Halo compatible system. Compatible with H system 3 wire single track.
- Configuration : 3-strip of wire. 1-strip of wire on one side and 2-strip of wire on the other side. It should be just shy of 1", and around 15/16".

NOT for JT or LT Track system - 2 Metal Prongs
- Not designed for Juno (JT) or Lightolier(LT) Track Lighting System.
- For JT or LT system, there should be 2-strip of wire. 1-strip of wire on one side and 1-strip of wire on the other side.
To install or remove the adapter on track
- Turn off switch at main power source before installation.
- Match the polarity line on the track to the track fixture.
- Pull down the adapter sleeve.
- Rotate 90° of the head adapter until the adapter sleeve snaps into the track groove and locks into place.
- Removal is the reverse procedure. Track fixtures may be positioned anywhere along the track.

This is our second one. It is a great way to change a hardwired ceiling mount pendant into one that can be powered by a track lightning system.

Requires tiny spade terminals in the overly small body to wire this up. Took quite a bit of time to do. If it was an inch longer or a little wider then the extra room would have made the job much easier. Also, beefier lug terminals would have been preferred as this is 120v power (for my swag light). I use LED bulbs as they are very low power consumption compared to traditional incandescent bulbs, and have had no problems. Still would feel more comfortable with something beefier.

This adapter has a very compact low profile design compared to other options available. I thought that would be big plus as far as looks, however I found it extremely difficult to get all the wires inside even after purchasing small female connectors (not included) to fit on the tiny tabs. After a bunch of effort squeezing all the wires in the small space, I placed it in the track and twisted 90 degrees. Flipped the switch to test the light .... and nothing ! Pulled it out of the track and to my dismay one of the tabs was bent and mangled. Gave up and returned it. Bought a larger adapter with ample room for the connections and had it installed in minutes without any issues.

It is what it is supposed to be BUT, I wouldn't count these holding much weight. After wiring up, the replacement of the screws reveals the cheap quality of the plastic housing. Screws strip easily and there are only 2. Not much holding the hook in place. Price = Quality.

This product comes with instructions for 3 or 4 items that don't match the item. The connections inside require slide on connectors which are not supplied, or solder joints. I had the tiny spade connectors, but the item is so fragile that the contacts with the track were distorted. It is made for H track, but I could not get it to go in correctly, even on a short piece of scrap track. Save yourself the trouble and don't buy this one.
