Nice anemometer for the money. Does what I need for HVAC work. Had to read the manual, play around with it for awhile, read the manual again, and play around with it some more just to figure it out. Minus 1 star for the manual. ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE LITTLE CLOCK ICON DOES??? Nothing in the manual except to say it's a timing symbol.

Got this to judge wind speeds and directions before going out on the board to make sure I wouldn't put myself in a bad situation. When I first got it, it seemed like the fan blade wasn't working, but I finally noticed there was a small metal piece interfering with the rotation. As soon as I got the debris out of the way, it began working perfectly, and I haven't had an issue since. If there's a reason you need to know the wind speed, this has worked great in that capacity for me.

No instructions and difficult to figure out. Did what I needed it for after much research so it was very useful in determining AC register air flow. Mfg. Should offer better support and documentation for typical applications.

I bought it for it's "extending" feature. However, it hardly stretches. You can buy a non extending one for half the price, either way you will have to stretch your arm.

I've been dissatisfied with the airflow distribution of my home's ac system. I'll use this anemometer to get a better idea of the airflow coming out of each vent, and hopefully make some adjustments to the ac ducts.I wasn't sure what to think about the handheld sensor, but now after using it - I like it, in many areas of my home it has saved me from climbing up and down a ladder. For my situation this works better (especially the extension) than an "all in one" unit would.One of the reasons I chose this model was because it did Not use a 9v battery, but rather AA. And I'm pleasantly surprised that it also works with the lower voltage Nimh AAs (though even with a fully charged nimh batteries the display does show a "low battery" indication). I always have extra AA batteries ready to go, so this works perfectly for me. Thankfully I won't need to worry about leaky alkaline batteries ruining this device.I have no way to verify the accuracy of this device. Fortunately for my use, the absolute accuracy is not that important. The device does seem reasonably well made, and the impeller spins very freely with just the slightest amount of air over it. The only issue seems to be that the impeller is not balanced, as one blade always wants to swing to the bottom when it stops spinning.Overall I'm very happy with this meter, it's gotten me the data I need. Now with the cooler weather I need to go into the attic to see what changes I need to make to fix the airflow distribution.

Use this to check HVAC performance at the returns and outlets. Remote head is useful; units are a bit hard to read on the display, but will get used to it after using awhile.

Anemometro semplice nel suo utilizzo ( ovviamente non professionale ) , permette di selezionare la lettura della velocità dell’aria. Cosa interessante che sul display compare anche la temperatura e l’umidità . Consigliato er applicazioni non troppo tecniche

Cet anémomètre est très simple d’utilisation, toutefois mon compagnon s’est aidé du mode d’emploi qui possède sa version française pour mieux en maîtriser le fonctionnement.Il s’en sert principalement pour sa collection de bonsaïs qui demande beaucoup de vigilance sur l’impact de la météo et notamment du vent pour certaines essences.Cet appareil l’aide en l’informant non seulement de la vitesse du vent, mais aussi de son débit et de sa température, renseignements précieux pour cette culture. Il décide alors ou pas s’il doit mettre en serre certains de ses arbres.Mon compagnon est donc pleinement satisfait puisqu’il gère plus sereinement sa collection depuis cette acquisition, sans solliciter en permanence la météo.La housse de protection jointe lui est bien utile pour transporter et ranger l’appareil au jardin.Cet anémomètre fonctionne avec trois piles de type AA fournies avec l’appareil.
