I needed additional work surface in my craft room/art studio. These adjustable work benches were just what I needed. They arrived sooner than expected. Easy to assemble. Extremely sturdy. The wood top is heavier than expected and very well finished. A wide variety of sizes. Great value!

First, the table/workbench has a very thick and heavy, close grained, oak top with a durable looking satin clear finish. It looks and feels like it could take a lot of punishment. However, it looks so nice that if I were using it as a workbench, I would probably feel like laying a sheet of protective plywood over the top. The table comes with heavy duty locking rollers or rubber feet. I chose to mount the rubber feet because my wife is using this for a large embroidery machine and the precision she requires means that the workbench should remain very steel. so far the workbench is working perfectly for the task. I have adjusted the workbench at its lowest possible height. The reason that I took one star off for maneuverability is that the work bench could use one more height adjustment lower I know that the maneuverability category may not be a perfect fit for this issue, but it was the closest, I could come up with. As it is, the workbench is working perfectly for my wife (who is 5 foot four) to use while seated in an office roller chair with feet flat on the floor. But, the issue is that even if I wanted to use the roller seat I really couldn’t because that would make the table surface about an inch higher and that would be getting too high for my wife to use comfortably for the embroidery/sewing machine. One position lower would be all that is required and actually I could achieve this pretty easily with a sharp drill bit and I just may do that in the future if i feel the need. If I do, I will revisit this review and update it.Other than that one potential issue (which happens not to be an issue for me) I have only praise for this workbench. It was very easy to assemble solo. I recommend using a cordless drill/driver and the proper phillips and allen wrench bits to speed things along. The electrical outlet on one end of the workbench is a really nice touch in the photo you can see that I actually added a power surge protector/power strip. I really didn’t need to do this but I felt compelled to protect the $8000 embroidery machine from power surges.

I like this workbench. It was a good starter bench for me. But, as my business grew, I needed something bigger. I bought a bigger workbench and I use this one as a desk which works great! It has power outlets that I plug my computer, print, iPad, phone, and other things into. I was not missing any parts and adjusting the height is easy enough.My only complaint would be the absence of any drawers for storage. Then again, a small storage container can easily fit underneath it.I have read some reviews that say it’s wobbly. Mine was wobbly at first, but my husband realized I put the bolts on backwards. If yours is wobbly, check that the wider, flat side of the bolts are against the bench. He flipped them all and now it’s sturdy with no wobble whatsoever.

First of all, I must say I ordered 4 of these benches when they were on sale. Seller shipped them extremely quick by FedEx. The benches were very well packaged, and none of the products I received had any damage. Assembly was easy and lots of extra nuts and bolts were included. Assembly instructions were clear and easy to understand. The work top is very nice, appears to be solid hardwood wood with some type of mat finish. Only negative I can say is that these tables don’t have any cross brace, and being 60†long they tend to rack back and forth. I solved this issue by using some 2x10 lumber to make lower shelves that run across the leg braces and secured them with bolts. This stopped any racking. The sheet metal frames of these benches are on the thin side, but sufficient for light to medium duty. Overall I’m very pleased with these benches.

Edit and updated rating : After I posted this review, the seller reached out to me to address my problems. After requesting photos and some more info, they apologized for the issues I encountered, and offered me a replacement or full refund, with no requirement to return the damaged table. In view of their response and CS actions, I felt it only fair to revise my initial review.As I said in my original review, the product is good to very good in functionality and appearance. Their CS in response to issues rates very good . I am quite satisfied that my concerns were addressed in a repaid, professional and responsible manner. Over all, product and CS = 5 StartsFirst off, the table - wood and frame - are top notch. Very nice and very sturdy. However, the nice butcher block top I received was damaged - one corner had a large (1.5â€x3â€) wedge about a 1/4†deep broken off and a deep (1/8â€) gouge just about center on the top that ran 2†long. There was a hole in the shipping box about where the gouge is. Why do they ship such a neat block of wood with the “good†side facing out and therefore subject to any shipping damage? The broken wedge is clearly a manufacturing QC issue. There was no shipping damage to that area of the box. The large wedge was loose but still attached . At first, I thought no problem, I’ll just flip the table top and use the underside as the top. The underside, while good, is not as nice in appearance as the actual top and also has the pre-drilled holes with which to attach the frame. I thought about returning it but at some 60# and the hassle of a large item return just didn’t make sense. I will fix this damage but I should not have to. As I said up front, this work bench is good, but the manufacturer QC and shipping packaging are lousy. One star…
