Description:

This compressed air condensate automatic drainer is a mechanical automatic drainer which has casting aluminum alloy shell and inside ball drainage system.Drainer outlet is closed when drainage buoyancy is smaller than floating ball weight plus compressed air pressure; and it will open when buoyancy increases, in order to drain condensed liquid.

Instruction:

Before installing this drainer, please use compressed air to remove impurities in the piping till it is completely clean.

Install this automatic drainer beneath the drainage device of equipment, otherwise condensate will be filled and affect drainage.

Maintenance

Inspect the drainer once a week.

method: open manual drainer valve to drain water till compressed air in equipment enter the drainer, after a few seconds then closed valve.If drained water is more than 0.5 liters, there is a blockage and drainer need to be cleaned completely.

Internal parts should be taken out and cleaned each year.When cleaning, you can use soap water or dish-washing liquid to clean, do not use solvents, so as not to damage the rubber fittings.

This condensate drainer was easy to install and works great. However, you may have to lift your air compressor to make enough room underneath. I simply put 4x6 blocks under the wheels and front leg on mine.

Air leaks around the internal threads of the input side of the unit. I tried multiple times, using copious amounts of teflon tape, but I air continued to leak. They are shipping a replacement unit and providing me with free return shipping. I truly hope it is a one issue. I like the design.

This thing is incredible. I purchased this of the opinion that if it didn't work, oh well it was cheap anyways. I have a 5hp 80 gallon Ingersoll Rand compressor that gets daily use, prior to this I was using an automatic tank drain that had a 1/8" feeder line coming from the pressure relief line so that everytime the compressor shut down it would blow a bit of air through and vent the auto-drain. Great except that if i didn't use the compressor for a couple of days I would lose about 10-12 PSI. I always leave all of my lines and tank fully charged as I use it all of the time. This however, I lose absolutely ZERO air pressure through seepage. It is flat out amazing, I no longer flip the switch off over night to prevent my compressor from kicking on. I did have to add another 2" of height to the vibration isolation blocks that my compressor is mounted on however small price to pay. GREAT, GREAT item. Definitely recommend. Save yourself a hundred bucks and get this verses the many other style auto-drains.
