I received it packaged fantastic. Even had to peel the plastic off the body. Great instruction book with breakdowns and schematics of the entire vehicle taking apart. I build RC rock crawlers so this is my first truck that goes over 5 mph lol. And right out of the box after charging the batteries the first run was such a blast. It's a completely different world but it's really fun in the dirt and doing jumps. It performed outstanding. On the asphalt it was just as much fun. I'm sure others go a lot faster but this one is supposed to be about 18 miles an hour. It is impressively built and very strong. It is also adjustable. You can adjust your shocks depending on what height you would like or whatever. I haven't messed with that yet. It appears you can add another set in the front. I'm going to check into that. It is upgradable to brushless and there is a kit you can buy for it. That'll make it faster but brushless is more dependable. Buy it, for the price you're getting more

I was concerned of the performance compared to the price point. I am very impressed with the quality and performance of this car.It rips! The speed adjustment was great for my 7 year old daughter to get the hang of how it handled before we cranked it up to full power. It’s really stable. The suspension geometry is well balanced. Plus the build quality appears very durable.I love the fact that it comes with two batteries so that you aren’t stuck waiting on a charge. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get into a good, really fun RC without spending 4-5 times the price.

I bought two of these remote control cars, one for my son and one for myself. I'd say we're "beginners", but it's not rocket science to drive one of these. Mostly we'd go to the baseball field near our house, a dirt road, or to the skate park. That's about as off road as we typically get. The good: These are fast, have great battery life, and are a ton of fun! Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend them to others. The bad: We've had some "parts failures", mainly with items coming off. On my car, one side of the driveline came off and was lost. The car kept running just fine since it's four wheel drive (so it essentially became two-wheel drive), but there was some performance loss. Later, my son's shocks fell apart as did one of the front drivelines, and though we found most of the pieces we didn't find enough to put it all back together. Luckily, parts are available and in both cases I was able to buy them and replace the broken/missing parts with new ones. But those are basically the same parts of the same quality, so I expect other failures. It's not that the parts necessarily break, but the screws and pieces holding them on to the car come apart, and so the parts go with it. On a positive note, I've found working on these cars to be easy and sort of fun in itself.

I’m new to this world and a great buy for sure. Works right out of the box after some minor assembly. I bought some batteries before it came to have pre-charged batteries ready to go. So much fun! Easy to use. Easy to handle. Great if you’re new and don’t want to spend too much money.
