I purchased these to go on a very heavy door on the front of a church. Originally, there was an old door closer on the door which made it extremely difficult to open the door (made it seem 10 times heavier than it actually was) and if you did not get out the door in time, it would slam shut on your back. This was dangerous for some of the older adults that used that door. I took that closer off and replaced the old hinges with these. They worked perfectly once I got everything set right. The door is extremely easy to open now, and it does not push you out when it is trying to close.

These hinges work really well to gently close doors that tend to be left open, especially in tight hallways where that can be a nuisance. They’re adjustable, which makes them versatile, and strong enough to completely close doors or just keep them soft-closed (not fully shut).I’ve used these on several doors in my house, both internal and external, and they’ve performed great. Some of the hinges I’ve had for years still work perfectly, and I recently bought more for other doors. They’re long-lasting and reliable, with no issues at all.

Exchanged the hinges from an exterior garage door into our home with these new springed hinges. Quick installation and worked just fine. Everything matched up perfectly which included the miter door cut to the previous screw holes.

Easy install and make the door shut. My wife and kid she both had about closing the door to the laundry room that touched the garage. That allows a lot of heat to get into the house. So I got these to close the door behind them and they have been a love smart on my electric bill!!
