This is the right tool to get the job done. Stuffing 17mm casings was too difficult for the meat grinder to handle, tried a jerky gun (1 lb capacity), which worked, but was too difficult on my hands and a big hassle. The solution was to purchase this stuffer and a 8mm horn (size 5). I was able to stuff 35 lbs into 17mm casings in roughly 1-1/2 hours. That is a bunch of meat sticks!Easy to assemble and easy to clean. Loading was easy using the tilt load feature. Gears mesh well and was overall fairly easy to use even with the very restricted 8mm horn. I imagine stuffing brats or summer sausage would be a breeze with this machine and it's 7 lb capacity. Perfect size for my intent. Well made, robust product that simply works exactly as advertised.As mentioned by others, you will have about 1/4 lb of ground meat left in the bottom that will not be stuffed. Fry it up and enjoy a sample of your labor while the stuffed sausage is being smoked or dehydrated.

15 pounds through the stuffer so far. Very impressed, quality is far better than I expected. Easy to clean, stainless seems high quality, and very sturdy. One of my better Amazon purchases for sure.

Seems very well built and of excellent quality. My only fault is that I wish it came with the smaller stuffing tubes. The smallest is 16mm and I had a very tough time fitting the 17mm collagen casing on it, even with a little olive oil. Apart from that it works great. Night and day difference between a dedicated stuffer and a grinder that can stuff sausage. Far less effort and if you’re making a lot it’s a good deal. The only other complaint is that a couple days after I got mine the price went down $27.

I would have given it 5 stars but the 4 rubber feet did not fit the holes provided to insert the feet, so I had to buy a 3/8" Diameter drill bit so the would fit. This was quite annoying, and their customer service requested a photo, which I was unable to upload on their message, however as you can see the photo uploaded on Amazon feedback just fine.

If you are doing more than a few sausages at home, you need this machine. My girlfriend has started making sausages which she was stuffing by hand. (Don't ask). I bought the sausage stuffing attachment for my KitchenAid mixer which was a boon. But that attachment is not meant to do any any appreciable quantity really. I'm a big guy and I do labor work but trying to do any more than 5 pounds of meat with that attachment is taxing.So I started looking and found the Hakka. I set the machine up for her and she did 10 pounds of sausages by herself. Together, we're doing 20 pounds at a time now.The machine is very easy to set up because it comes assembled. Just a few pieces to screw on and you're ready to go.There are two speeds, but I only use the low speed gear. The barrel just isn't so tall that it needs a high speed gear in my opinion. Plus, the 3 pound capacity means you aren't having to reload every 3 seconds anyway.The parts that come into contact with the meat all disassemble completely for easy cleaning.I'm trying to play the devil's advocate and come up with a con to the machine but there are none. Everything from the easy setup to usage to cleaning is awesome.Very highly recommended!

This is my first vertical stuffer, and it's an amazing product. Once it's clamped down, you can turn out pounds upon pounds of sausage. The gear action is extremely smooth and easily controllable by hand. It's a high quality product with excellent materials and build quality, and even the welds are nice and clean. We would definitely purchase again.

Thus far I’ve made ran over a 100lbs of different flavor wild meat sausages through this stuffer without a hiccup. Very happy with this stuffer and can highly recommend this product.

Mi compra guiada por opinión de otros adquirientes de Amazon: MÃQUINA EMBUTIDORA HAKKA, además por búsquedas en internet.Muy rápida la entrega, sin maltratos, empaquetada de modo profesional. Sin alteraciones externas del producto, aparenta ser buen acero inoxidable, completo sin faltante de piezas, solo falta la prueba de usarla para calificar definitivamente. Eso en posterior opiniónBásicamente adquirida para uso casero, no industrial ( 7 libras/3 litros vertical )

Es mucho más de lo que lo que esperaba los niveles de la cálidad de los materiales francamente superior muy bien pensaba. Tiene dos velocidades y la válvula de escape de aire muy bien lograda, fácil de limpiar.

2 speeds and the fact that it has an automatic air release valve makes it so easy to operate. Canister and plunger are easy to remove for cleaning.
