This is a surprisingly good product. It has an adapter piece that screws into the plastic chuck part. What sets it apart is that the adapter is further secured by a screw coming from the other direction. Good design and holds the bit well without any slipping that I've noticed. I thought this was definitely worth a review since it seems to be a great product.Pros:Fits a good range of drill bits from 5/64 to 3/8Seems like a really tight fit without slippingHand tighten-able or you can tighten or loosen it by holding the chuck and going forward or reverse on the drillHasn't come undone, slipped, or anything like thatCons:My 1/16 drill bit is too small for it.It's plastic so *maybe* not great for high torque applications. I haven't tested it for that. Works fine for me though since I am just using it as a hobby drill.Max drill bit size seems to be about 1/2" although I don't have one that big to check. Not many cons. You tell me.

I think it’s a good product, but I did have to shave a little of the metal off so it would fit into my drill without falling out. Nonetheless, it only took me a couple of minutes to do that to get it to the right size. But I think for the price it’s appears to be Well made

excellent quality and fit for the price fitting is the main factor in the life of the key holding it in tightly is the other even high quality keys will fail if not held in correctly !! remember the key wears and strips out to save the chuck which is harder and much more expensive to replace

My expectations were low, but I only needed to drill 10 holes. On my very first test hole the chuck suddenly started to wobble, which caused the drill bit to bend and the workpiece to crack. Not only did it fail immediately, but it took two other things with it!After I wrenched the broken chuck apart I discovered the screw connecting it to the SDS adapter had stripped out, which presumably caused the wobble. The only good news is it broke so quickly I didn't have a chance to damage my pillars with it.

Its a little hard to tell when its open far enough to place the bit in, and it does not tighten very good. The bit will slip easilly when cutting.

It is easy to use one drill for hex or other drill bits.
