From the product image it looked like this wouldn’t have the punched-out semicircles as found in the original one which comes with the Hakko soldiering kit, but I can confirm that it does.According to the instructions you offset the semicircles down into the iron holder water tray so they pull up water. Also helps the sponge not slip around.

It is as described and of good quality. I got another cheap quality, which they smell, so buy please original Hakko product only.
