The Hakko CHP PN-2007 long-nose pliers has a flat nose with 3mm width, 32mm smooth jaws, a flat outside edge, and Parkerized surfaces for general purpose electronics applications. The flat nose reduces the risk of damage to delicate parts and provides a wider surface for gripping parts. The 32mm serrated jaws have precision-ground surfaces that provide smooth operation. Serrated jaws ease handling of small diameter parts, and the flat outside edges ease access to recessed or component-dense areas. The 3mm heat-treated carbon steel construction provides durability and long life. The tool has precision-ground holes and surfaces that provide precise movement. Nonslip hand grips provide comfort and control, and a dolphin-style curved fore-edge protects hands from cutting surfaces. Parkerized surfaces prevent glare and increase corrosion resistance.

American Hakko Products manufactures soldering and desoldering tools. The company, founded in 1984, is headquartered in Valencia, CA.

I bought these pliers in 2019. They have been one of my favorite tools. I use them around the house for DIY projects and for repairs of my vintage cars. While they are great pliers, they will break if abused, which I did yesterday. I just went to order a replacement pair, but now they cost twice as much so maybe I'll wait until they go on sale.

These things are so great. I searched for this specific form factor and bought these because they looked like the best of the options. Wow! They work great for my targeted specialized purpose, but so much more. The nose is like flat, thin, precision needle nose pliers. But the thin jaw is the deal. Even forceps have a wider (thicker) profile that makes them hard to use in super confined spaces. Not these. And the serrated jaws have a nice grippy finish to them. After having them for a couple of months I came back to buy 2 more pair. I need them everywhere now. For me they have replaced my small precision pliers, my needle nose, and my forceps. Buy. You will not be disappointed. Super high quality and elegant.

Hakko tools are freaking great. I also have their flush cutters and wire strippers. The open/close action is smooth as butter, the handle material is soft as a baby's butt and the business end is strong, effective and scratch free. Great ergonomics too. I've used these as a better alternative to tweezers, both for electronics projects and around the home stuff. I usually reach for these before my "standard" workshop pliers, which have all rusted out in a month by the way. They're as good as products twice the price. I want to replace every tool I can with the Hakko version, seriously.

I love this brand for my type of work. I made a review on their micro cutters and now theee. Although I bought these, I don’t use them often. I don’t seem a need for them for myself. I gave to a co worker and he swears by them. They are built really well just like all hakko tools and they haven’t rusted even being in the salty air where I work. Really quality with great use. The teeth for the pliers are sharp but not too sharp to where it’ll fit through wire or anything. They have a nice handle and feel to them. I can’t do these any justice in a review. All I can say is buy these if you need pliers

I've been looking for a pair of pliers like this since I started making jewelry. I work mostly with stainless steel, so I need a little more strength and holding ability to do things like close jump rings and do wire wrapping. The jaws are a little sharp, but work with a file fixed that. These have a serrated jaw that will hold the rings steady to be closed, and it's narrow enough to fit into tight places. The handle is comfortable and isn't tipped to be left or right handed so it works easily both ways. The return spring is light, so if you have to use it a lot, you don't get tired just using it. Yes, I like it, and I'll recommend it, And I'll buy one again if necessary. Four stars because I'd like to see better mill work on the jaw so it is smoother.

There is nothing these pliers can't do. The spring-loaded handles make it easy to hold small delicate items. The teeth and alignment are perfect for grabbing small to larger items. I use them daily and are very comfortable to use.

These are very high quality nose pliers. I love the way they feel in my hand. The grips are very comfortable and the effort needed to squeeze the pliers together is very, very minimal. There is very little noticeable resistance. Hakko tools are superb and this is no exception. The ONLY complaint I can think of is that they are always-open pliers. A possible improvement would be to have some sort of way to keep them closed when not in use. I like to have my tools closed when they're put away, but other than that, I have been very happy with these pliers. I would highly recommend these to anyone that can find a use for them. My particular use so far has been with electronics.

These are great. Amazing quality like all Hakko products. Made in Italy. The rubber texture is perfect. Great for those tiny parts. I wish the teeth had more of a criss cross pattern rather than straight lines, but it works for me.

Simplemente excelente! Acabados muy profesionales, mucha resistencia, no están frágiles y los dientes en las puntas son súper útiles. La marca jamás defrauda.

I needed long nose and small pliers for digging supports out of 3D printed objects. These are great and work really well for that task. The handles are really nice too and the rubber part doesn't slip out like often does on pliers. Spring opened is the default position on these so it's ready to go in your hand.
