Got some random light fixture used from somebody and had to shorten it up by 6".Took the existing downrod to the HW store and found a match for the threads - the lighting supply shops here do not apparently carry metric hardware - and ordered this online.Works fine once you make sure the mating nipple threads are bottomed out in one side or the other.

We needed to extended the length of a chandelier we bought at a major hardware store and they didn’t have what we needed so I got these. They look great and match the color perfectly and the quality was sturdy and came with more than enough extension rods to make sure we had the right length. We were able to slip them over the wires and install everything within an hour. Make sure you measure correctly and everything will work great!
