It's exactly right. If you came here looking for a huge fan that "fops" or clacks when you open/close it, THIS IS IT. I purchased the black one with the Moon & Mushrooms to match my witch-themed brewery birthday. It was a hit.

The Mrs loved the funky design, and large size of this fan. She says's it's too nice to actually use, so she has it on display. It may be a little large to carry and use as a functional fan, but it definitely could be used for that purpose. It feels well-made and pretty durable... at least as durable as these types of fans can be, they tend to be a little delicate.She loved it - so it's a winner. Recommended.

This fan has nice art on the front, but is only going to be good for about a month of non consistent use, the wood itself is flimsy

I love that the design is on both sides of the fan. Have not had any worries about the hardware of the fan and have had for 1 year. Makes a loud satisfying clacking sound and I use in lieu of clapping and making a lot of noise at events. Perfect for fanning yourself cool. I crocheted a holster for mine, by School for Stitchery
