The manufacturer replacement part leaked on two units. Returned and bought this one. It worked perfect. Easy install and no leaks, what more can I say.

This valve was marked as a perfect replacement for my camper toilet valve. When I removed the old valve and compared it to this one, the new one was slightly smaller. Once I installed it, the valve did sit loosely in the housing due to its slightly smaller size, however, once I added the mounting screws, the valve was nice and tight with no leaking.We have had the valve on through several camping trips and we have experienced no further leaks so I am happy to say this fixed my issue. The value is noticeably stiffer to engage, but that is likely because the old valve was worn out. Heck of a deal considering the alternative is to replace the whole toilet which is not cost-effective and much more labor-intensive.This ended up being an inexpensive and easy repair. Even if this valve were to leak after every camping season (which I don't anticipate it would), I could buy 17 of these valves for less than the price of a new toilet.

I installed two of these in the RV after the OEMs started leaking. This is a very doable project if you like DIY jobs. - even if you don’t, this is pretty easy.I recommend putting some 100% silicone or other “O†ring lubricant on it before installing.Hope that helps!

Finding the toilet filling with water when not in use because of a leaky valve I started trying different brands of valves for a replacement. They all look the same but many are real junk. I tried this by Halotronics and so far it's the only one I have tried that works like it should. NO MORE LEAKS and very easy to install. Reordered another one to keep as a spare or to give to someone having the same problem.

Toilet was leaking. bought this to stop the leak and works perfect. took 5 minutes to replace.UPDATE:I did rate it 5 stars, but it only lasted 2 months so I can only give it 1 star now... Unfortunately I can't return it anymore. This 5 minute job has now turned into a major repair as I just put down new floors that have to be replaced. I should be able to return this and get my money back...
