The fryer is great, easy to use and clean. Takes 5 mins probably to heat oil and 5 to cook something crispy. You will have to constantly monitor the food to take it out at the right time, to the frying level of your choosing. Overall, a great buy.

What I like most is that I can use this indoors without my whole house smelling like grease. The filter in the lid seems to work very well! The oil temperature, though, is questionable for the highest 375 degrees. It takes a really long time to get fully heated, and the temperature light doesn't seem to work correctly when at range. So far, my handheld temperature probe has not shown it to reach the top temperature at all. It does get hot enough, however, for the foods I have tried so far: chicken, chimichangas, poppers, and sopapillas. I like the size of the basket, as it provides plenty of room to use tools for turning items over. I limited my larger foods to a count of three and smaller foods to eight/ten. Fried foods are a treat, but not something we would eat daily, so it will take time to try more things. I think it is worth its cost so far. It is easy to take apart and clean. I would be more impressed if the temperature was more precise and the "ready" light worked better.

Over the years I've had several cool touch deep fryers. This one is better in that there are more parts you can clean. It did take a bit of trail and error to figure out how to put together. Once that was done, it was easy. I would like it if it were easier to disconecent the handle from the baseket. Other than that, it is a great product. I would purchase again if needed. That should be at least a few years.

I should start off this review by stating that I have zero complaint about this fryer's function to fry food. Temperature control is on point. The design makes it easy to both use and to clean after cooking.Now on to the first point that almost made me return it: One: the power cord is too short. No, really. WAY TOO SHORT. The cord measures at exactly 20 inches. Now, 20 inches sounds pretty long if you're measuring a certain male body part, but not for the power cord for an appliance that needs to plugged into the wall. Combining that with the fact that the power cord is one of those magnetic ones that falls out at the slightest tug, it basically means that you have to have the fryer right next to, almost touching the power outlet. In a kitchen setting, that isn't always possible. I don't even have a flat surface to place the thing on within a 20 inch range of any power outlet in my kitchen. This brings me to my second complaint.The fryer is unnecessarily bulky considering its capacity. The thing is almost as big as my microwave oven. So in order to use this fryer, you need to make a space large enough for it, and it has to be within 20 inches of the power outlet in your kitchen. Good luck with that.During usage, the fryer also emits a smell that I struggle to describe, but definitely would never imagine coming from something that's supposed to cook edible food that won't send the eater to the hospital for chemical poisoning. It doesn't smell like anything is burnt though.If you can look past these complaints, then I guess the fryer works fine. The fried chicken I made did indeed come out delicious, after the large amount of hassle I wasn't prepared to put up with.

Ya he freido varÃas veces papas, salen ricas y me encantó que no salen grasosas. Ahorra mucho aceite. Lo único que no me gusta para mÃ, que se le echa bastante aceite para freÃr, ojalá hubiera una más pequeña y estarÃa genial, nosotros somos 4 en la familia y rápido en poco tiempo frÃo papas. Súper recomendada sobre todo para una familia más grande. No la regresé porque hace de maravilla su función y me encanta que mi cocina ya no se mancha al momento de freÃr papas, se que se puede freÃr más peor no lo he hecho, sin duda lo haré más adelante.

Firstly, I would like to say that you can definitely add alot more oil than what this fryer recommends. Just do not over fill. It fries really well and if you add the extra oil like I mentioned, you can fry enough for a family, but maybe you will have to fry two batches of fries, for example, which is what I did. I really did not want to deal with a huge fryer. It's super easy to clean, as all the parts are removable and once it is washed I just put in my cabinet. That's why I love the size. I totally recommend this Deep Fryer!
