I've only used it once since I bought it but it worked really well. It was sturdy and looks good on the platform or stage. It's interesting in that the last one I bought was back in 1971 which costs $5. My how things have went up. :)

Very sturdy design, but only three legs. Would be more stable with five legs. Also, trumpet bell rests on a hard piece of plastic. Wondering if this will eventually wear the bell’s finish.

This stand works very well. I have have several over the last 30 years. This one is not exactly like the original ones. Not quite as heavy and has a silly screw on the legs. Like once it was open it would collapse. That is not going to happen. But you can take the screw off. The pad that the bell sits on is not as sturdy as the original ones but it is good enough. This is still the best stand out there.

Well worth the price for a nicely made and very sturdy trumpet stand that will protect your valuable instrument. Its a little heavy but that's a good thing when you think about it. Highly recommend.
