I haven't set this up yet, but it's to replace a swing chair hook outside. The weather is still too chilly in New England to get this up, but out of the box it feels strong and sturdy and I feel will work well for what we will use it for. Bonus that it came with two in case we get a second swing chair. I especially appreciate that this rotates as well, the one we have does not and it's kind of annoying.

Full disclosure - I got these for off-label usage for wall-mounted anchors/stabilizers to use in my photo studio. That said, I am familiar with the intended usage of hammock/swing chair hanging.These are great, well built and robust. The swivels aren't as smooth as others I've used, but they absolutely solid, and built rugged. The lag screws held well in my wall, and I have no fear of them pulling out. The hilti bolts look good, but I didn't use nor test them so I can't speak beyond that. I do have a personal rule regarding liability that I don't trust lag bolts to human life, so if you are planning to use this with a hammock or swing chair and want to attach it to your ceiling, I would go ahead and purchase an additional set of standard bolts with fender washers that can be run vertically through your joist/beam/whatever as an extra margin of safety. That's not to knock on the quality of these, though. they're still great.

These hooks work perfect for hammocks or hanging chairs. They are heavy duty, come with the hardware to install them, and rotate 360 degrees so you don't have to worry about them becoming unscrewed.

This set of Feanron hammock holders is very well constructed.The set includes:*two hinges / hangers*two carabiners*an option of fasteners for each hinge, including a wood fastener and a concrete fastenerThe hinges and carabiners have a black finish that looks great.Unfortunately, this set came with no instructions, though it does look fairly straightforward. I would also like to see the weight capacity included on the box or in instructions. I know the online description states that this set has a 1,200 pound capacity but online descriptions can change after the fact. We intend to use these for either a porch swing or a hammock so we're not too concerned about the weight capacity but others may be.Overall, though, I'm happy I ordered this set, I would order it again and I would recommend it.

Installation is pretty straight forward - just drill a hole and insert the expansion bolt if you don't have a solid beam. Otherwise, just drill a starter hole and use the provided screws to attach to the wood. I've put these in an area under my deck that is reinforced, so there is no question that the beams are strong enough to hold heavy weight. Having said that, I really don't foresee a situation where I'd be needing the 1200lb capacity. These are being used for hanging chairs, so it's great to have the ability to swivel around and rock. The black finish is a very nice aesthetic feature, giving the overall look more polish. Being under the deck, they are pretty well protected, so I don't think rain or rust will be a problem - and I can always touch them up with paint.

As a sometimes contractor and long time DIYer, I consider this item to be more than adequate for the task it is being marketed for. I'm not going to look up the specs and I'm not an engineer, but I would happily hang 1200 lbs from this hardware. HOWEVER, do not believe that you can hang 1200 lbs from your ceiling, or even from the joists of an outdoor deck, unreinforced. This kit is more than adequate, it is overkill for the suggested uses. Having said that, I tend to overbuild things because I like insurance and I like heavy duty stuff.It is stainless steel and it isn't likely to rust, but some oxidation might build up and restrict the free movement of the swing-able parts. Rust isn't your real concern--squeaking and creaking is. So a brief squirt of WD 40 now and then would be a good idea...or just wait till it does creak.

This kit is amazing. They are very well made, durable, and will last a long time. This set includes everything you will need to enjoy your hammock indoors or outdoors without worrying about any safety issues. I highly recommend them!
