Why do we need a sand bath for our hamsters?
For health and happiness, both of us and the hamsters
Does your room smell no good because of your hamster's cage? If you investigate the source of the smell, you may find out it's the hamster itself. However, hamsters should never need a bath with water, which can disrupt their natural oil. So a sand bath is a good choice. The hamster will roll around in the sand, and the sand will cause most dirt to fall off naturally.
- Sand baths don't damage the hamster's body oil and clean the hamster's body well.
- Regularly cleaning the hamster's fur in a sand bath can keep their body healthy.

This the prefect size for my dwarf hamster. Not too small and has enough room to move around. It keeps the sand inside as it digs and kicks. Money well spent

This is pretty cute since it is in the shape of a hamster. Overall, it works well; it just was a little hard to get it to fit together, almost like it was slightly bigger on one end than the other. With a little manhandling, we did get it to snap into place and stay that way.

I’m writing this 3 years after i purchased thisMy gerbils passed away not too long ago. They used this pretty much their whole life. I thought they would chew it to pieces considering they did everything else but this is a hard plastic. Its still in good condition now.Not to mention they loved their sand baths â¤ï¸

this thing is pretty small, but for the price is pretty good. fast delivery and well made. after you close it it is kind of hard to open and may want to ask an adult if you are a kid.

The lid is too small to fit on the bottom dish… I ended up putting just the bottom part in our hamsters enclosure without the lid because I didn’t want him to get injured if it shifted when he tried to get in. It is cheaply made, I am disappointed, I would’ve just used a small bowl had I known and skipped ordering this product.
