My hamster Nutmeg has been enjoying this, I didn’t expect it to be so big but it’s very durable and easy to put together, I wish the package came with some directions but looking at the image it’s self explanatory. Not only is it safe for him but it’s quite appealing, the wood matches his whole set up and including this wheel. The size is big enough for him and some bedding and it seems generally easy to clean, using as little as a damp wash cloth to clean it off and let it dry. It doesn’t need glue but I suppose for bigger animals safe glue might be a good idea. I really like the fact I can see him while he’s in there but the holes aren’t so big he feels on display.

It bigger then I thought but still fits. Gerbal uses the bottom to get in as it covers the top with bedding but still works great. Good to show your kids the best one one then having them dig inside to see their pet. Didn't know it was lock in but still holds strong as long as your done bash it around it stays together. Decent price but could be made of different variations on wood and not the same stamp out cut out

This thing is ridiculously easy to build, but it doesn't stay together. I'm not putting super glue on this because my hamster is a chewer and I don't need her ingesting super glue. If this could actually fit together properly, I'm sure it'd be a great product. I returned it literally the next day. I am never that quick at returning something but I was throwing that thing across the room. Every time I built it, I'd pick it up and it would just disintegrate. I hate this item. And this item hated me.

We (accidentally) have 8 gerbils and each of our 4 aquariums have one of these ladder/tunnel hides. It was a great purchase. Especially love that they are coated which makes them easy to clean.
