I was a but skeptical about a hand-tight nut for high pressure gas, but it works well and has not leaked with a couple of gas cylinder changes. We are quite satisfied.

My Hobart 140 was leaking when I got a bottle to start mig welding. Couldn't get the fittings to stop leaking no matter what I tried. Looked for a solution on some of the welding forums and everyone recommended a hand tite fitting. Easy install and no more leaks. If your welder leaking hand tite is the fix.
