Spreads seed nicely. The recommended setting for seed is way too restrictive, set it to the maximum and it'll carpet the ground. Much easier than my old hand crank one. As advertised my Milwaukee M18 batteries fit right in. It didn't use any juice, the battery was still full when I got done spreading 40lbs of seed. Got it done in a fraction of the time it took to spread the last 40 lb bag with the hand spreader.

Better than my Scott’s spread that leaves lines. This works excellent and the battery lasts for a very long time. I use this on roughly 1/3 acre and it goes faster than the push behind Scott’s, more importantly it does a better job of spreading evenly.

A great little spreader! I have a desert hardscape yard and spread weed preventer over the whole yard in about 20 minutes. It spread the preventer very evenly and consistently. It also used very little battery doing the job. Would buy again.

advertised to work with “rock salt†huge disappointment, finally got some snow went to use it and it would not disperse hardly any salt at all and for it to mediocrely work i had to keep working the the in the tub by hand. It took my milwaukee 18v battery but it could run on a 2V battery based on performance. Dont waste your money.

Disappointed in how underpowered this is. A 20.00 battery powered spreader works way better than this.
