We use this for quick and easy window, furniture, countertop, and stove cleanups so we don't need to pull out and assemble our very excellent super-steamer [name starts with a D]. We looked at the reviews for the handheld steamer brand that starts with a B, but chose this one because the specs seemed a little better. So our biggest 'problem' is dried gunk on our countertops. We needed to use a super-soaked scrub sponge to get them all up, then get rid of the water. This steamer just allows us to remove the gunk and do a wipe with paper towels. The really stuck-on gunk blobs require literally putting the steam nozzle right up against the stubborn blob, but then it cuts right through the gunk. Wipe the slight amount of condensed steam and gunk residue with a paper towel, and the job is done. Quick and easy compared to the soaked sponge and mop-up method. We make sure to not overfill the tank - and we do use distilled water because we keep a lot on hand for use with our 'D' super steamer. If we inadvertently do overfill, the steamer will signal us that that happened by spewing a stream of water, which we 'test' for after each fill/heat evolution by pointing the steamer into the sink and squeezing the trigger until water stops and steam commences. That actually also lets us know we have an optimal amount of water once the water stops. We have used it about 10 times for kitchen, windows, bath cleanups with no problems with the lid, or other shortcomings others have noted in various reviews. We have not used the Hose attachment - only the Nozzle attachment - because it is obvious that the further the steam 'exit' point is from the source, the lower the pressure and temperature might be.And . . . we have squeezed the trigger for up to a minute at a time, and only noticed an almost imperceptible drop in steam output. When it really 'poops out', the green indicator goes out, then comes back on when the pressure comes back up.The specified pressure of 3.0 Bar at 105 Degree C Temp at the exit point [video showed Temp measurement] helped sell us on this. However, we noticed a newer and unreviewed Red-colored steamer with a 'claimed' 3.5 Bar pressure and a 120+ Degree C rating that we also ordered - it was *even* lower cost - but was not shipped as quickly as this one. We ordered both because we couldn't wait, despite the red-colored one being a pig-in-a-poke with no reviews. This steamer works well enough for our purposes. And it does what it does with no chemicals - just clean steam!

I had seen so many videos on these steamers and had to try one. This one works great. Perfect size and the steam last a good amount of time.

I've used it one time, and it cleaned everything I tried to clean. I bought this to try out steam to clean some things I have not been able (or willing) to clean. So far I am loving the way the steam loosens the ick that seems to develop around the kitchen and bathroom. One thing I didn't think about was that you REALLY need a towel in your other hand to wipe up the splatter that the pressurized steam unleashes. The first thing I cleaned was my grungy yellow hair comb. Stuff went everywhere. Good thing I had it in the bathroom sink at the time. A quick blast on the sink and all the gunk was headed drainward. Then I turned around and looked at the shower. Even on the outside, the corners where the tile goes up the wall were dirty. Not anymore! And inside? I'll need more time, but the test spots seemed to clean up nicely. My wife decided on black grout because she didn't want to see the mold. Well, "black" mold is really dark brown mold when you have black tile and black grout, so you can still see it. My initial test on the tile and grout worked well, so I'll have to devote some more time to clean the rest of it.The unit came up to pressure much faster than I expected (about 2 minutes). The steam lasted longer than I expected. Eight minutes is what they tell you it will last. I was ready for a break, though. The cool off period before I could open the top and refill was shorter than I expected. All in all, it's very nice and I'm happy to have it. Next I want to try it on the bottom of the toaster oven and around the dirt inside the doors on my car.

This works really good on grout! But anything else, meh. It works, but nothing a cloth couldn’t do

I used it first to cleam my airfrier after my first scrub with Baking soda and vinegar. It barely sostén grease. In between, the nozzle came out burning my hand. After a long time attempting to use it for cleaning, I decided to try it on my grout, that was the same, several passes on a 4 inch grout produced little result. I used a rag to scrub the are after steaming and it barely cleaned. It took too much time and worse results than just scrubbing with clorox toilet gel. My third attempt was cleaning my shower glass. It did a decent job, but not better than what you get with a glass spray and a window squeege. My biggest no no is safety. My teenage kid helps cleaning the house and I would put that tool on her hands.
