The best thing about these shuttles is the hook. It is the handiest tool when you're tatting because it eliminates the need for a crochet hook. I like the fact that they are lightweight as well.

This is a new twist on an OLD design with a splash of color to boot! It is lightweight and easy to use causing less wrist and finger fatigue. I liked it so much that I bought another one in another color (turquoise).

The entire shuttle packaging was coated in a wet greasy substance. It was really gross, the shuttle was washed and it still useable just unhappy with how i received it. The second picture has an example of the original colors the packaging should have been.

this is a flimsy plastic tatting shuttle. When you fill the bobbin it squeals when you try to tug and pull (because that is what it takes) to get the thread to release. Total waist of money

It was fine until I pulled a length of thread from the bobbin too fast. The ratchet teeth smoothed over and now it unwinds on its own.

Absolutely horrible. The bobbin is so stiff I need to physically turn it with my fingers in order to get more thread.
