I had an old tree stand that was never quite great. A few times our tree would fall, so I began using monofilament to secure to the wall. This year, I decided to buy a new stand. After some brief research, I decided on this one. My only regret is not buying it sooner. It held my 7-8ft real tree perfectly. My old stand had 3 screws, but this one has 5, so it really secured the trunk. I liked the large capacity for water. This tree sucked up lots of water for days, so the large capacity was needed. With that said, the stand is deeper than my old stand, so when getting your tree, be sure to have them trim enough branches from the bottom so that it fits. Otherwise, have your hacksaw ready. Now that Christmas has passed, I just disposed of the tree. My only warning is to be mindful of the 5 little nuts that attach to the end of each screw. They get stuck in the sap of the tree and sometimes get embedded to the tree trunk when unscrewing. If you don’t check, you might throw out your tree and find you are missing those pieces. It happened with my old stand, so I always know to check before disposing the tree. They can always be replaced with a trip the the hardware store, if you lose them. This is a quality, sturdy product. If my cat was still alive, I’d even feel confident that she couldn’t tip it over with this stand. That’s saying something! lol

When I ordered this it said it was going to take about a week to come in. This was fine as we would be getting our tree a few days after it arrived. However it showed up 17 days late. It was not in a box, just a label slapped on the base and was missing all of the screws and hardware. The return process for this is also a pain! Don’t waste your money.

Great product, BUT review the return policy first! If you open any of the bags inside the box the return policy changes. We planned to buy a real Christmas tree then changed our mind and wanted to return the product… but since we opened the bags inside we could only get a %50 refund

Returned because I was given a different stand. However, this is a great big stand if that’s what you’re looking for, highly recommend. May be a bit overpriced but what isn’t these days.

I used this stand for an 8" tree and had no issues. It's a very sturdy base and I'm confident I can use it for larger trees. It can hold a lot of water, making it nice not to have to fill it as often as others.

No me llego el producto completo faltaron los tornillos y la única solución era regresar el producto completo y me marcaba ahora de 4 a 6 semanas para que me llegará uno de nuevo mi árbol lo iba a poner este fin de semana.
