These are exactly what I wanted for my son. They are not super thick, but we use them to layer so I wouldn't want them too thick. I think that would make him hot and uncomfortable. They are the right fabric for a layer against the skin. My son really likes wearing them and has started asking for them now. They shrank very slightly from the 1st wash, but have stayed the same size after the first wash.

Surprised about the reviews complaining about the stitching at the shoulder. these are just like any other tank i have bought my son or my husband and have zero issues. The seem is fine and doesn't cause any issues with my son's comfort or with the way they fit. It is an undershirt, I'm not sure what some reviewers are expecting. Ill be buying the next size up when my son grows out of these.

My son was refusing to wear his school uniform, complaining that the fabric was "itchy". Solved the problem by getting him these.He is 4 years old, and I got the small size. The length of the tank is rather long, and the arm holes are big on him, but hey, it resolved the issue of him complaining about his school uniform! The tank material is thin, which is a plus point, as despite wearing 2 layers of clothing in a tropical climate, he does not complain about feeling hot.However, I docked one review star coz the seams of one of the hems was not properly sewn, after after a couple of washes that particular tank is starting to look rather ragged at the hem. The other 4 tanks are ok though. I don't think it's an isolated problem as one of the other reviews I read had the same issue. So either Hanes has to improve its quality control, or it is periodically slipping one defective tank into a pack - I'm not sure which.

I have ordered these a size up (as I always do, due to the overall fit of these undershirts in specific). They fit my little boy perfectly. My little boy wears a 6/7 right now and these were truly great for him. The number in the pack is a huge help too, as my little guy seems to always get dirty pretty well no matter what he does

These tanks are nice, I just need small instead of medium but he can wear these later on the fabric is soft & breathable not stifling like some tees. this item was 2 days early & with no damage. Great!

Perfect fit... My only complaint, but it's for ALL tank undershirts, is that the seam NOT be at the shoulders.My son complained that it hurts his shoulder with his backpack on because it 'digs' in.

The size medium fits my average sized 10 yo son well. Not a lot of extra room, but they are good for now. He says they are comfortable. You should know they are very thin even somewhat see through, and the cut seems more like a girl cut shirt (comes in a lot at the arm holes). We got them for him to wear to bed mostly, not even as an undershirt, so they work for that purpose. Just know they are very thin and the cut is a little unusual. He's happy with his "muscle shirts" and that's what matters.

Great little tank tops. I had been looking in stores for under shirts for my little guy and couldn't find anything suitable for him. Was very excited to discover these and for the low price. Based on other reviews I bought 2 sizes larger for my almost 3 year old. They fit perfect for him. I like that they are bit long so they tuck in great. Love them for layering in cooler months. They are wonderful for using around the house in summer. Also used them so he had something on while I was potty training.Some people complained about the stitching (I didn't notice any issues) and how thin the shirts were. This didn't bother me as this is meant to be an undershirt nothing fancy. This is NOT a tank top to be worn on its own as it's very thin like undershirts are suppose to be.Also I followed the advice others suggested about these shirts shrinking bi just put in a cold cycle & hang them to dry. No issues with shrinkage. For the price it's great and I would for sure buy again and recommend.
