These worked great but are plastic so do break if lots of movement in the freezing cold.

I have a covered deck but I’ve had light strung up with various implements for years and they always come down. These however, are so secure and so aesthetically pleasing you don’t even realize I have lights up in the deck until you turn them on. I am so pleased with that little locking mechanism it has I am buying more because the pack doesn’t contain that many of your covering your deck. but I think I’m gonna use these all over the house

These light hooks are pretty good and honestly they are perfect if you are planning to put hanging string lights outside. I specifically like these because they close and ensure that the lights remain in place. During strong winds this will prevent your lights from coming off from a regular hook or nail making it excellent for outdoor weather. It also just makes the process easier when it comes to hanging because you just need to insert them without worrying about it coming loose. I think this is a very good set that is affordable and incredibly useful.
