I love the idea of the hanging macramé bed for my cats. The only issue I have with the cat hammock is that one of my kittens, which are 7 months old, somehow got her back leg wrapped up in the jute and was literately hanging upside down. In fact it was so bad that if I had not been home my kitten would have died from hanging upside down. Note I take it down when I’m leaning or going to bed. Otherwise my kittens love the hammock.

The first issue was finding the right place to put it. It's not very long (tall?), so it's not something that can really hang from the ceiling. I happened to have a really good place for, but it is something to think about before you get it. It took a bit to train them to get used to the fact that it moved when they tried to get into it. Now, I have a cat that spends all day in it. The pillow is easy to remove to clean, which is really important for something like this. It's very pretty and soft. I thought it was going to be scratchy and stiff, but it's not at all. I may have to get another one for my other cat.

My daughter has cats. Two of them. No kids. No plans to have kids. *exhales loudlyI've resigned myself to this reality. So, I'm a Grandmother to two very cute grandkittens.And... as is my right as a grandmother, I've decided to spoil them. Nothing is too good for my grittens! This little hammock is BEAUTIFUL! It is as simple to hang as a plant. I'd be super happy if there was another style in this same Boho themed material.

Great looking item, but can't tell how sturdy it is, or how easy it is to assemble. It's rather disappointing to say it comes with hardware, but it does not, I may revisit this review at some point when I am able to find the right kind of hanging hardware bits.

My cat is a solid unit/ orange brick so I was a bit worried it might be too small or weak. The hanging basket is well made, sturdy and large enough for Mr Chonk. It is also beautiful.
