This canvas seems to be good enough but it is very thin in depth, less than an inch. Generally you can not submit a canvas to a show that is this thin unless it is framed. This set comes with a frame but the frame is not much thicker, is made of what appears to be raw wood, not painted or stained. I don’t know that I would enter a show with this frame either. But if you want to paint and hang it in your own home, it would work just fine.

I like it. It's convenient and practical to have the canvas and frame. I usually hem and haw about whether to frame, but this made it easy to plan from the start. I like it.

This is excellent quality. The surface is primed to perfection. Im a novice painter but I have been at it for awhile and tried TONs of painting supplies. This canvas is one of the best at home canvases Ive ever used. Many times even when it says preprimed I have to do it again. Not with this the surface was smooth and paint adhered to it without any issues at all. The price point is fare and competitive with other canvases of this size and quality.
