I built a jye scope a while ago and have been very happy with it overall. I think I got the kit for less than $20 and it took like 20-30 minutes of soldering to get it assembled. it's only drawback, to me, was the 50V limit. now with this 10x probe I can easily view voltage above 50V. I've used it so far on 110V from my outlet with 10V scale to see the AC wave from utility company. I plan on using this to see some 230V graphs also. The connector is standard, so it attaches perfectly and is a secure fit. fantastic product

It is not a Techtronix or a LeCroy, but for normal use, it is great.

These don't do anything exceptional or special, in fact they are pretty much identical to what came with the DSO. Mine was used for factory automation which was tough on the probes, so I bought a new set. The exceptional thing about these is that they do the job and are extremely cheap as scope accessories go. A set of Tektronix probes, excellent as they are, might cost more than my Hantek DSO1502B. That's OK, I suppose for industrial use but kinda rough on the home shop crowd.

I purchased this item to replace the inexpensive alligator clips that came with a small portable oscilloscope that I purchased on Amazon a few months earlier. I read a few good reviews so decided to purchase it. It provides the 10X attenuation function that I was needing. It seems well built and it performs well under the fairly basic conditions that I am using it. Very happy with my purchase.
