I wish I had seen that this was not a true menorah- it should have 9 candleholders, not seven.

This Holiday season there have been a plethora of Christmas movies. I think there are literally too many Christmas movies for one person to watch. Anyway, in prioritizing which holiday movies I wanted to watch this year, I decided to pay special attention to the ones that did not only celebrate Christmas, but also celebrated Hanukkah. I did not enjoy all the holiday movies I watched and fast forwarded through several of them. I did, however, enjoy each of the movies that celebrated Hanukkah, and would probably watch them again.We have thought about ordering a Menorah for a while now. Although we are not Jewish, we do believe in miracles and like to celebrate even unexplained works of God. We do have friends that are Jewish and have had the privilege of celebrating various Holidays with friends, including Passover and Hanukkah.I was excited to see this Menorah on our list and ordered it right away. I really looked forward to receiving it. I think all the anticipation of finally getting a Menorah added to our disappointment when we found that the one we received was bent beyond use. Several of the cups on the branches are bent, but especially the middle one. Also, due to our lack of knowledge, this seven candle Menorah is not for Hanukkah, but was for light in the Temple.Although this is pretty as a candle holder, (since it is not a Hanukkah Menorah), it would actually be dangerous if you used real candles since the candles were all on a slant. I did like the weight of the piece.

The pictures make this look better than it does in real life. Even my pictures.This is spray painted metal. It won't be a hand-me-down heirloom, but it's a decoration and it doesn't look bad at a distance.

This is not for Hanukkah. It does not hold the right number of candles. Do not buy this for Hanukkah.
