It features Arca-compatible dovetail which allow you attach your lens to Ball Head, Clamp or Panorama Head of Arca-Swiss standard. Reserved 1/4" and 3/8" screw holes at the bottom for attach lens to tripod directly. Built-in strap hole for carry.

The ring adds stability to your camera and lens. Due to its weight, when the lens is mounted with a camera on a tripod, the center of gravity is shifted to the lens. The ring attaches to the tripod and can be shifted to adjust the balance.
Rotation
Having the camera secured with a ring around the lens makes it possible to rotate the lens between landscape and portrait modes without removing the camera from the tripod. The friction thumbscrews can then be tightened to secure the camera in the desired position.

I purchased this ring stand for a Tamron 50-400mm lens. It appears to be well constructed of good quality aluminum and provides a snug fit so that the lens does not wobble on th tripod. I also like that the adjustment screw sits higher than on the OEM ring stand making it easier to access when in use. Of the models available I would definitely purchase the Haoge LMR-TL140 again.

It fits and works fine, no issues. Good price. It's a must for use with this lens on a tripod or monopod.

The lens won't drop out of the collar, but it can rotate. This can be a little annoying when trying to adjust a ball head and hold the camera body still at the same time. Overall the construction is sturdy and the foot fits my Arca plate fine.

This fit my Tamron 100-400 f/4.5-6.3 Di VC USD A035 Lens perfectly. Looks like it came with the lens and allows me to mount to an Arca Swiss tripod. Build quality is excellent and it is robust enough to securely hold my 5D Mk IV with battery grip and the Tamron 100-400 in a solid position without moving. Can't recommend this enough if you're looking for a cheaper option than buying the Tamron collar.

Some users stated that this mounting ring scratched their camera so I was very careful the first time I attached this to my camera. I DO NOT have any issues with scratching and the mount works perfectly when switching from portrait to landscape. Very good for the price.

Installation is counter intuitive. You must start 180 degrees from the logical place. Start with base over the window. Fits perfectly once you figure that out.Number one problem with my copy is two of the set screws are two long and protrude out far enough that the base cannot be clamped into place on the tripod. They cannot be tightened enough to work.

Works great for my Tamron 50-400mm. Ensure you line align the collar correctly with the groove on the lens, or you'll scratch it. Don't insert the lens into the collar, but instead, make sure you unlatch the collar, then clamp it down and tighten. Perfect fit.

I don't have the OEM to compare but this one fits my lens perfectly - sits nicely on the notch around the lens barrel, alignment lines match those on the lens for portrait or landscape mode shooting. I like the clean finish and details like -easy to adjust clamp knob to secure and release the lens; and, arca-compatible base plate. The base plate looks shorter than the OEM version but still good enough to balance the long, heavy lens when mounted on a tripod.
